Importing and Combining Audiences
It’s not uncommon to start your business in-person, online, or locally in your community without using a marketing platform such as Mailchimp. This might mean that you’ve been sending emails one by one to your contacts or collecting interest for your content or products at events such as craft fairs, conferences, or expos. As long as you were clear with people that their information was being collected to contact them for the marketing of your products or services, you can import that list into Mailchimp. If you previously used another marketing platform, but maybe it didn’t quite work for you, you don’t have to leave your contacts behind when making the switch to Mailchimp.
