Cognitive Ergonomics

Overview

Ergonomics is concerned with the study of people at work. Cognitive ergonomics focuses on developing knowledge contours and decision constructs in human mind. Consumer behavior is a complex system, and the conditions enhancing knowledge, perceptions, and decision-making abilities broadly constitute cognitive ergonomics. This chapter discusses compatibility between cognitive attributes that are epistemologically explained and the cognitive architecture that is used in socio-economic behavioral processes. The behavioral factors contributed by the intrinsic and extrinsic factors are discussed in this chapter in the context of developing cognitive ergonomics.
