Bridging the Generatioal(Mis) Understanding Gap
READING ABOUT GENERATIONAL DIVERSITY is one thing; engaging team members in a lively discussion of cross-generational issues is another. One of the most effective ways we’ve found to facilitate such discussion is by conducting a training exercise we call “Bridging the Generational (Mis)Understanding Gap.” This activity takes 2 to 3 hours to complete, and will help the members of each generation do the following:
• Create a profile of their generation’s characteristics, values, and contributions to the organization
