Where Do You Work From?

We will start from the assumption that the business has a base, a specific workplace, irrespective of size. Staff working from home will need to be considered too. The easiest starting point is the stuff you can see, the physical properties. Where does the business operate, the internal and external structure and shape of the buildings, storage areas, car parks, and how you use them.

As we know, premises are not always ideal for what we want to use them for and quickly become overcrowded or outgrown as the business becomes established and grows. There may be restrictions on what you can or cannot alter, and whether it is owned by you or leased presents its own problems.
