A critical talent that you should develop is the ability to evaluate an employee’s skills in effective use of social tools. Depending on the position for which you’re hiring, social tech skills might be more or less important.
For the jobs that can be heavily augmented by applying social tools, the quality of the work a person produces in the near future could vary by 50 percent when using social tools well—or not. The difficult thing about this is we don’t have much history in knowing how to “grade” a person’s social tech skills.
