Plan the Project
It is difficult to imagine pursuing any type of analytics project without proper planning. Unfortunately, planning is not always as thorough, accurate, or complete as it should be to make the project successful. All too often, analysts suggest that information will evolve as data are manipulated, which consequently leads to analytics with no purpose and an approach that cannot be replicated. Proper planning with the right individuals, using the right tools, takes additional time, but it makes the project more effective and helps it deliver better results.
