Chapter 20. Rocket and Boost Gliders
If you’ve ever built a model airplane, you’ve probably already thought a bit about how to combine rockets and airplanes. That’s what we’ll do in this chapter. We’ll start out by exploring what’s possible and what’s not with rocket-powered airplanes, then build a classic pop-pod glider. In the next chapter we’ll build a variable-geometry air rocket glider.
