The preceding chapters explain the background and evolution of Web site measurement as well as the key concepts, metrics, techniques, and approaches. But how do you actually tackle a whole measurement project? What are the key stages and deliverables? In the following sections, I first suggest some smaller, tactical initiatives that you might want to tackle to get the ball rolling before looking in more detail at how you might tackle a full project to implement and integrate a measurement software solution.
