Chapter 7. Creating Flash video
In 2004, Macromedia started popping up at conferences showing off some of the really interesting things one could do with video using the Flash Player. Prior to that, developers were quietly discovering that Flash Player 7 was a serious media player that required no extra software to play. About that same time, Jeremy Allaire, one of the inventors of ColdFusion, told anybody who would listen that Flash Player was a Trojan Horse and “people are just now turning it on.”
