Printing and Using Graphics
Some people were once convinced that computers would lead to a paperless society. There were all sorts of predictions that everyone would simply use information directly off of computer monitors and never need paper. Books, newspapers, magazines would all be delivered on the computer or some similar device. That might have some good environmental effects, but a paperless world is not the real world of today. A printed page is highly portable, can be written on, can be folded to fit different spaces, can be passed around a meeting, and so forth. It is unlikely that paper will go away in the near future.
