Find and replace words or phrases
Did you write your entire story using your boyfriend's name, Joe, as the hero? And now you've broken up and want to change the hero's name to Heathcliff? No problem—go to the Edit menu, slide down to “Find,” then choose “Find…,” or press Command F. Find “Joe” and replace with “Heathcliff.” It will be worth your time to experiment with the options you see in the Find dialog box—they're self-explanatory. Also see page 206 for an extra tip.
