Chapter 1. Switcher or Adder?
Thank you for buying my book (or for merely thumbing through it if you’re not past the cash register yet). I appreciate the opportunity to have a conversation with you that I’ve always wanted to have but that a lack of time has usually prevented.
It’s the conversation I’ve had—always in a much more limited form—with dozens, perhaps hundreds, of people who wanted to know if a Macintosh was the right computer for them. Some made a pro-Mac decision and some didn’t, but I felt all had at least given thought to which computer would be best for them.
