REPEAT SECTOR CLUTTER MEASUREMENTS
3.1 INTRODUCTION
Phase One multifrequency land clutter measurements were conducted during a three-year period at 42 different sites widely dispersed geographically across the North American continent. Many of the sites were in western Canada. The Phase One clutter measurement equipment was self-contained and mobile, principally housed within three, 18-wheel tractor-trailer combination trucks and manned by a five-man crew. The equipment included a transportable antenna tower expandable in six sections to a maximum height of 100 ft.
