Santa Cruz Public Library: community on the web
Abstract:
This chapter traces SCPL’s efforts to bring a local community to the world since the early 1990s. It has launched a series of digital projects, such as Full-text Local History Articles, SCPL Local History Gallery, and Local Online Databases. Two notable team leaders are duly recognized: former reference coordinator Gary Decker, and Ann Young, the current webmaster.
