In Chapter 3 we explored virtual worlds that recreate geographic spaces, digital enhancement of physical spaces, and how physical concerns influence the design of connected digital technology. However, we can also look beyond that, to new digital public spaces that are not directly comparable to physical ones, but still exist as publically accessible and shared realms.
