As the use of LISP has advanced in the Internet of Things (IoT) space along with the enterprise and data center, security has become a major concern that keeps network architects and network engineers up at night. The number of connected IoT devices is increasing rapidly and poses a huge security threat to the network infrastructure. There are two main aspects of any LISP deployment: the control plane and the data plane. LISP provides support for features to secure both the control plane and the data plane.
