B.2.1. Logical setup

Figure B-2 shows the logical setup of StoreCompany. StoreCompany has two zSeries 900 Model 105 (with five CPUs) machines configured in a Parallel Sysplex. The Coupling Facility in the second LPAR of the second machine (LPAR-E) uses an Integrated Coupling Facility (ICF). The business applications run under z/OS with DB2, CICS, VSAM and WAS.
