Chapter 3. Delivering Feedback

To successfully deliver feedback, experienced coaches should help the recipients reach their own conclusions about the data. The feedback coaches should also make sure the recipients understand the process. They should help the recipients to go past the data to the meaning and assist them in understanding that conflicting views can be valid.

Three common approaches to delivering feedback are one-on-one sessions, group sessions, or a combination of the two. The choice of method often depends on the type of instrument used, the organization's plan for its implementation, and the number of participants involved in the initiative.
