Part I. Getting Started
Part I begins by exploring some of the ideas behind Python, the Python execution model, and ways to launch program code. We won’t actually start writing code until the next part, but make sure you have at least a basic understanding of Python’s design goals and program launch techniques covered here before moving ahead to language details.
