From Ambition to Meaning

At first glance, the arc from ambition to meaning looks remarkably similar to the arc from success to significance. However, upon closer inspection, we begin to see the major distinctions. Significance is the mark that we leave behind when we are no longer here, whereas meaning is the personal fulfillment that is ours to enjoy as we develop and grow through our own experiences.
Our daily work can be as full or as devoid of meaning as we choose to make it. It is our personal responsibility to determine the activities that will create either authentic reality or disappointing illusion. ...
