The Nature of Being Human

One of the most complex dynamics we face is that which involves ourselves. Complexity arises from many dynamic interactions among different variables. People interacting with each other continually on a daily basis, especially globally, results in unpredictable and uncontrollable scenarios. Historically, leadership has been seen as the ability to influence or control groups of people for certain desired ends. In organizations and cultures, particularly in the foreign policy arena, which can impact the likelihood of armed conflict, this elusive quest for what makes the best leader has resulted in a tremendous amount of research and investments of money and time.
