Summary and Next Steps
The Android Baseball League app is complete! We started the app with nothing and now have a fine-looking application all about our (not quite real) baseball league. This chapter was about sending data into and out of the ABL app, primarily in the form of notifications. Hopefully you now see how you can use both local and push notifications to enhance your users’ experience. Just don’t bug them too much!
We also touched upon sharing within an app here at the end. It wasn’t nearly as in-depth, but it didn’t need to be. In most cases, a simple text link is all that someone would want and will handle what you need.
What’s next? For the ABL app, nothing, at least not in this book. We’ve got some testing coming up in the next ...
