Its demographics are young, its natural resources are immense, and its democratic government is stable. Brasileiros (Brazilians) are proud of their country and justifiably thrilled about hosting the pending 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics. If you are somewhat familiar with “the beautiful game” futebol (soccer), you are welcome to ask questions about it. However, be aware that most Brasileiros are futebol fanatics, and compared with them, you will have basically no knowledge of the game. Act accordingly.
