Chapter 2. Set Up Your Fire
Now that you know how to use it, it’s time to charge it up, get online, and connect with Amazon.

Your Fire should arrive with enough juice to start poking around immediately, but you’ll probably want to give it a full charge before you get caught up in a good book, movie, or any other of the many distractions you’re bound to find along the way. Charging is pretty straightforward: just insert the USB side of the adapter to the base of your Fire and connect the other side to a wall socket.
