Special Considerations for New Appointees
There are two kinds of new appointees to the highest posts in organizations: real first timers—people who’ve never had a chance to run a business before—and situational first timers—people who’ve been in charge of businesses before but are walking into a new assignment. The advice here for both are surprisingly similar.
