The Back of the Envelope model is the starting point for thinking powerfully about how to run your business. But it’s just the start. In this chapter, I will give you an overview of the second key framework, Vision–Strategy–Execution. This one builds on the work you did on the Back of the Envelope, and becomes the centerpiece for how to run your business. In the chapters that follow this one, we’ll dig deeper into each component of this new centerpiece.
