Introduction

The era of flexibility refers to different sectors of economy and segments of labour market. The public services such as healthcare experience changes and challenges such as new technologies and the ageing of society that poses new questions around care. In this sector labour costs make up a significant part of the budget. The Polish healthcare sector faces struggles to keep consistency of the budget that is chronically underfinanced, so the cuts in labour costs are seen as an opportunity for healthcare units.
