The difference between running a successful Web site and an unsuccessful one is gauged by the customer visits or "hits" to your site. A successful Web site obviously attracts more customers and provides some "sticky" characteristics that make users come back for more. Supplying a daily dose of cartoons and news or message boards and chat rooms can provide this sticky behavior. For business applications, however, stickiness is provided by personalization.
