Chapter 4. Phone Home (Or Work, Clients, or Anyone Else)
Basic Calling, Visual Voicemail, Contact Management, and Easy Conferencing
With all the capabilities packed into the iPhone, it's easy to overlook one of its primary features (for both business and consumer use): it is a mobile phone. As basic and unexciting as that may sound, the iPhone's Phone application incorporates a number of useful features as well as a very original user interface that may take a little getting used to—especially if you've primarily used landline and traditional entry-level mobile phones. In this chapter, I'll walk you through the basics of the Phone application, how to manage calls, and how to use the iPhone's visual voicemail feature.
