If you've never programmed anything before, you'll have a tougher road ahead than many readers, but that doesn't mean you can't begin right here. If terms like variables, if statements, while loops, and methods sound familiar to you, then you can probably skim or skip this chapter. Objective-C does have a unique, fun way of writing methods (or functions), so even if you have past programming experience you should pay attention to that section if you don't know the Objective-C way of doing things.
