Introduction

Animals are frequently used as surveillance aids because they can fit in places humans can’t, fly to places we can’t easily fly, and hear, see, and smell things we’re unable to sense without technological aids.

Animals like dolphins and bats can “see” with sound, which enables them to visualize things behind cloth or sand or other materials that enable sound waves to penetrate.

Dogs and dolphins are eager to work. Their body language conveys a sense of pride and accomplishment when they figure things out, much the same as humans.
