THE TRANSITION TEAM

Depending upon the scale (varying from amateur to Broadway or West End), the complexity, cost factors, and safety needs for a production, a producer or general manager would assemble a transition team: production manager, stage manager, and technical director. This team would be responsible for shepherding the production from rehearsals and through fabrication (construction) to installation (load-in and set-up in a theatre).
