Chapter 6. Adding Basic Controls and Lists
In this chapter, you will learn how to:
Classify controls by type, associate controls with field data types, and set property values that are common to most controls
Add conventional and rich text boxes, hyperlinks, and three types of lists to your form
Describe the format of XML Schema’s date and dateTime datatypes
Create drop-down lists and list boxes with items populated from data you type or add from secondary data sources
Add option buttons to option groups and insert check boxes bound to True/False (boolean) fields
Use XPath expressions to display calculated numeric values in expression boxes, and add Base64-encoded images and ink drawings to forms
