Chapter 22. Securing Your Server
Is your server secure? This is a tough question to answer. Security is more of a process than an attainable goal. Good security requires constant diligence on the part of the network administrator. As you make changes to your server, you need to keep in mind the effects that those changes have on security.
Having a secure system often means both controlling access to information and ensuring that information is accessible. First, if someone can obtain unauthorized access to information from your server, your server is not secure.
