Badiru (2012) defines project management as the process of managing, allocating, and timing resources in order to achieve a given objective in an expeditious manner. The objective may be in terms of time, monetary, or technical results. Project management is the process of achieving objectives by utilizing the combined capabilities of available resources. It represents a systematic execution of tasks needed to achieve project objectives. Innovation management discussions are also found in Legum (2019), le Merle (2017), Tidd (2014) and Trott (2017).
