3 Creating a Community
Like all healthy relationships, communities require commitment and reciprocity to thrive. We’ll be looking at what being a part of a successful community gives you and what it takes to create and maintain a successful community. Some of these lessons were learned the hard way, and some were only ever distant aspirations we couldn’t fully realize. None of that should stop you from benefiting from what we’ve learned, so hindsight will be just as powerful here as any foresight we may have had.
Community brings people together through common purpose, shared values, shared passions, and shared needs. These knit us into a whole greater than the sum of our given parts.
