5 Conclusions
The main aim of the monograph was to verify the mechanism of IT adaptability influence on organizational performance among organizations operating under conditions caused by BSE, including those which avoided a crisis caused by such conditions, those currently experiencing such crisis, and those which were not able to survive such crisis. Such aim was fulfilled through systematic literature review, which provides a basis for the development of the theoretical model of IT use in contemporary organizations, and empirical studies which allowed for the verification of such model.
