REMIS COBOL to J2EE and Oracle 9i Modernization
REMIS Increment-3 source code was comprised of 91,382 lines of COBOL source code and 54,853 comments supported by a database that uses SQL and flat file, running on an HP non-stop with a G06.25 O/S using an HP non-stop RDBMS. The user interface is a 6530 terminal emulation that is Web accessible. The application used external calls to the operating system: FTP, TAL, and e-mail. The external data interfaces consist of outbound flat files that were sent by FTP to external systems and inbound flat files that were sent by FTP to REMIS.
