Remote Work

Remote work defines the new world of work. It was a global movement before the pandemic, but its acceptance and reality accelerated during the lockdown. The genie is out of the bottle and things are never going to go back to the way they once were.

Prior to the Covid-19 work-from-home mandates, workers of all ages had begun to request greater autonomy and flexibility in their work lives, and employers were slowly getting on board. In many cases, though, it was a manager-by-manager arrangement and a negotiated perk.
