Designing Decorative Doorknobs
As you learned in the last chapter, there is more than one way to create something within Fusion 360. In this chapter, we will learn how to create multiple decorative doorknobs using the Revolve and Extrude tools. These are two of the most commonly used tools used in any 3D modeling software, and in this chapter, we will focus on various ways to use them. We will learn about three different methods: revolve by adding, revolve by subtracting, and build upon extrusion. These are all great ways to create 3D models, and they all have different design intents. It’s up to you to determine which works best for your project, but ultimately, the process really is determined by project time and budget.
