you learn to accept the scraped knees
and instead keep your head to face the breeze,
you learn, instead, to look to your companion,
and acknowledge that your teamwork will reign champion.
the bruises mean little if you still run together
in fact, they remind that you achieve under pressure.
clasped hands, never commanding the other,
equals kindly challenging to go even farther
you must know the buddy system at times will take patience
but in the end, you hand them applause with no hesitation,
the going gets tough, and then, it’ll get tougher,
yet there’s no one who helps you more than coworkers
even if things are way harder than what it seems,
these all lighten up when you are empowering ...
