Enabling People, Organizations, the World

When trees grow together, nutrients and water can be optimally divided among them all so that each tree can grow into the best tree it can be. This is because a tree can be only as strong as the forest that surrounds it.1

Trees teach a simple lesson: When we grow, change, and thrive as an ecosystem, everyone wins. When stronger trees get sick over the course of their lives, they depend on their weaker neighbors for support. An individual tree’s well-being depends on its community. The forest must continually nourish and enable the growth of others, to enable all to reach new heights.
