3.10. Setting up an ASCII terminal
The 3151 display can connect directly, or through a modem, to an AIX system. The connection to the AIX system can be made to one of the native serial ports, as shown in Figure 3-8, or to an asynchronous adapter, as shown in Figure 3-9 on page 69. Additionally, a printer can be connected to the 3151 display and is supported by AIX as Terminal Attached Printing, as displayed in Figure 3-8 on page 69.
