3.1 Overview of the Proposed Hybrid Encryption Approach

In this chapter, the suggested hybrid encryption framework begins with chaotic Baker map permutation, AES, or RC6 algorithm as a first step for encrypting the multiple images, separately. Then, the resulting encrypted images are further encrypted in a second stage with Rubik’s cube algorithm. Chaotic, RC6 or AES encrypted images are utilized as the faces of the Rubik’s cube. From the concepts of image encryption, the RC6 or AES algorithm introduces a degree of diffusion, whilst the chaotic Baker map adds a degree of permutation.
