If you guys have created the account, please remember that a VPC would have been created by default (in every region) and we can use that. However, in order to understand the concepts, we will create a new one.
From the top of the Console, Click on Services, and then find VPC (by scrolling or typing it in the search box):
Also, in the top-right corner, choose the region where you want the VPC. (Please remember that the VPC is a regional service):
- Click on Create VPC.
- Fill in the VPC CIDR (this will be the supernet, from which all the subnets can be created).
