Coaching and Mentoring for Responsibility

Introduction

Responsible businesses face many challenges. Managers learning about new ways of doing business need to be encouraged and nurtured if they are to implement new ideas in their workplaces. Mentoring and coaching are useful tools that can help people to explore difficult new environments with confidence and to develop their sense-making skills. They can also help people to develop soft skills (negotiating, leadership, and influencing) and enable new learning to be embedded as part of the learner’s toolkit of behaviors, techniques, and approaches.
