Peter Vogel began working in information technology in 1984 and by 1994 was the head of the IT department for a multinational heavy-equipment manufacturer. He has received many awards throughout his career, including the President’s Award for excellence at Imperial Oil, marking only the second time the award had been given to the IT department; and the Quality in IT award at Bayer AG.
