All Inclusive
A set of events that encompasses every possible outcome. Also referred to as exhaustive.
Alternative Hypothesis
The opposite of the null hypothesis, normally showing that there is a true difference. Generally, this is the statement that the researcher would like to support.
Case Processing Summary
A section of SPSS output that lists the number of subjects used in the analysis.
Coefficient of Determination
The value of the correlation, squared. It provides the proportion of variance accounted for by the relationship.
Cohen’s d
A common and simple measure of effect size that standardizes the difference between groups.
