Bridgette arrived early for my workshop, while I was still setting up the room.
It was the first time we had met.
We exchanged some brief pleasantries whilst she grabbed a coffee, sat down, and opened her newspaper.
Five minutes later I was all prepared, so I wandered over to Bridgette armed with my friendly smile and a small plate of ginger biscuits. As I did so, I noticed her paper was open at the property section. Wanting to initiate some small talk and seeing her lack of interest in the ginger biscuits, I asked:
‘Oh, so thinking of moving house are you?’
