Facilitator’s guides lead the facilitator through the training activity. They essentially comprise the details about what the facilitator will do during the instructional process. In format, they usually consist of an outline of the content with notes and procedures alongside. The result is a “play book.”
While there’s no standardized format for the facilitator’s guide, it should be developed in a way to ensure a link between the lesson’s objective and the facilitator’s activities. Some consist of exceedingly detailed directions, while others are merely sketches.
